Give this some thought. It's possible , given the fact Comey is not stupid and maybe knows where some of the bodies are buried.

From an attorney friend today: 7/6/16 An interesting view. Just hope the voters continue to get the message.

Consider this:
Comey is not a stupid guy. He may have been directed to "take the fall" with his Hillary announcement (we know that Loretta didn't want this thrown on her desk to preside over, even though the FBI has no authority to make decisions whether or not to prosecute crimes; they only investigate and Justice Dept decides that). However, he decided to do something out of the ordinary -- lay out and disclose all of his evidence during his Press Conference. He knew what he was doing and he knew that it would create a "firestorm" of controversy. If he had just sent everything he had to AG Lynch, it might have all gotten buried or, at least, not disclosed until long after the election. Instead, he threw it all out for the public to know.
He also knew that it would cause Congress to call for an investigation so, now, he will not just be able to go and answer their questions; he made himself available almost instantly (tomorrow at 10 AM) full well knowing that they will want to dig even deeper, hear about more evidence and have an open-ended Q&A for the entire day if they want to. If he wanted to, he could have stalled this for a month just by saying "he's busy; send me a Subpoena or let's schedule it for a convenient time. I think Comey knew that this way the FBI's entire case will get a full public airing (and, since there isn't a prosecution pending, he can be candid and open about anything and everything). If it went to the Justice Dept's hands, it would die a slow death there. Nothing will be kept secret now; we'll learn about things (such as Hillary having 12 private servers) that no one even suspected existed. Comey can, literally, try this case before the public, just as he started to do laying out the key evidence just before "dropping the case", when everyone thought he was heading toward a recommendation of prosecution.

The Public and Media will now get to know EVERYTHING that would or could have been presented in court if there was a prosecution (in fact, even more than what could be presented in court because there will be no rules of evidence holding him back). This hearing could be extremely eye-opening. Like I said, Comey isn't a stupid guy and he might have just outsmarted Lynch and Obama when they told him to "kill this case". A Grand Jury might have taken 6 months or longer to accomplish, if playing "according to Hoyle", plus it is secret, except for leaks. Now nothing will be secret. Again, Comey is not stupid and he might also prove that he is no one's lacky; however, he will just "play it straight"; answer all of the questions and not have to volunteer anything. After all, Obama and Lynch can't tell him to lie to Congress. He might look foolish laying out this case when not recommending prosecution but he might be wiser beyond our thinking because now he will just be responding to questions "under oath.

That's my take on this scenario. This could come out to be the biggest fake-out in American history and, possibly, the only way to take down a liar and dishonest government official who is being "protected". It might, actually, be worse than anything Hillary and Bill ever imagined.
Who knows; maybe this will also carry into the Foundation crap as well. We will see.

MY Wife and I have discussed this in the same way. He's thrown it back on their court. Now they have to dig themselves out in the court of public opinion. It's a Psychological tactic that presented the problem for HillBillary right NOW. Not once she's in office and Obama has pardoned her.

President Obama can't pardon Hillary until she is convicted of something. That is not going to happen. This whole charade of Benghazi and her emails has been blow out of proportion by Republicans hoping they can tarnish Hillary enough so Trump will be a shoe in. No such luck. When something is built on lies it doesn't pass the test. She has done nothing to be convicted for. I know that will disappoint some but it is as it should be. What we do know now is that many in congress have private servers. They get classified emails too. Gowdy keeps a private server. How about investigating him to see if his emails lead to Benghazi hearings being a witch hunt? Rice, Powell both had private servers. Should Lynch go after them? Nobody in government seems to care because it isn't all that important. It is just bones being thrown out for the masses to chew. The Republicans would rather the media be talking about emails than the looming disaster of a trump Presidency would make.

From AR15.COM:
While the FBI might have let presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton off the hook for her alleged mishandling of classified information, recent Washington Post/ABC News and CBS/New York Times polls suggest that the American public is far less forgiving. Coupled with recent polls showing presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump leading, or within striking distance, in several swing states, some in the Clinton camp are beginning to panic.

On Monday, the Washington Post published the results of their poll, conducted July 6-7, which asked respondents several questions regarding the Clinton email scandal. When asked, “Do you approve or disapprove of [FBI Director James] Comey's recommendation that Clinton should NOT be charged with a crime?”, a majority of 56 percent answered that they disapprove of his decision; this included a majority of independents. A mere 35 percent approved of FBI’s recommendation.

Another question asked those polled, “Does this issue make you worry about how Clinton might handle her responsibilities if she's elected president, or do you think it's NOT related to how she might handle her responsibilities if elected? IF WORRIED: Are you very worried about this, or somewhat worried.” 57 percent of individuals polled answered that they are either “very worried” or “somewhat worried.”

According to the CBS/NYT poll, conducted July 8-12, Clinton’s statements regarding her handling of classified information, which were refuted by FBI, seem to have further eroded the minority of people that still considered her trustworthy. When asked, “Do you think Hillary Clinton is honest and trustworthy, or not?” 67 percent deemed her not honest and trustworthy, including 74 percent of independents. A CBSNews.com article on the recent poll noted that the 67 percent figure is “up from 62 percent last month and the highest percentage this election cycle.”

On Thursday, The Hill reported that some poll-watching Senate Democrats are beginning to worry that Trump will defeat their candidate. The article describes a private meeting attended by Clinton and several Democratic senators. According to The Hill, a Democratic Senator who was on hand said of the meeting, “Some people were freaked out, they were looking down at the polls on Real Clear Politics and asking why it was so close.” Another individual, described as a “senior Senate Democratic aide,” told the news outlet that this wasn’t the first time senators had raised concerns about how close the polls are.

While Clinton supporters are “freaked out” about swing-state polls, there are some others that should send them right off the deep end. A February 2008 USA Today/Gallup poll reported that 73-percent of those polled believed that the Second Amendment protects “the rights of Americans to own guns,” rather than “members of state militias such as National Guard units.” A similar CNN poll from 2009 placed respect for the individual rights interpretation of the Second Amendment at 77 percent. A 2013 Rasmussen poll found that 74 percent of respondents understood that the U.S. Constitution protects the “right of an average citizen to own a gun.”

Despite the fact that it has been repeatedly shown that the overwhelming majority of Americans understand that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms, Clinton has time and again revealed that she intends to work to overturn the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in District of Columbia v. Heller, which recognized this right. During the course of her most recent presidential campaign, Clinton has said that “the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment” and called Heller, “a terrible decision.” Moreover, during a recent appearance on ABC’s This Week, Clinton repeatedly refused to acknowledge that the Second Amendment protects an individual right.

When it comes to the Second Amendment, Clinton is wildly out-of-step with the American public. Clinton supporters, you have permission to freak out.

Watching her poll numbers gradually drop puts a smile on my face :punk:. She should be convicted and tossed into prison but since that won't happen, as long as she is kept out of any sort of position of power in this country for the remainder of her life, I can live with that.

Would be nice...

I believe that the truth/facts /poll numbers do not have anything to do with much of anything.
And if they even do, most people seem too stupid to fix this mess of a country.

With that said, unfortunately I do believe she is the next POTUS. :/
(Maybe we shld shorten POTUS to POS.)

;)

The charade of Benghazi ??? No charade Dave , it did happen , and the Dems tried to lie their way out of it. Video indeed. If the Ambassador had made it out alive , he could have sent 'em all down the river . They couldn't afford to have him alive and talking to Congress , because he wouldn't have lied to them about his role in Libia.

She lied to Congress , under oath. You can be convicted of perjury for that.

There is plenty of information available on this woman....here's just one bit from a former secret service guy.

There just isn't ever going to be enough to convince some Clinton Supporters, it seems. The worst they can say about Trump lately, is how bad his speech writer is. Now who should lead us into the next 4 years? The woman, is out of her mind. And poison for America and the free world. There are more reasons for incarcerating Hillary than electing her President.

And many others have broken the law, in different ways. It doesn't make it ok.

Dave , your naivety is not to be dismissed , only because it matches so many others from the brain dead liberal hitlery followers . In closing , bah bah bahhhh...:wave bye:
