Practice on your launches a bit and don't take him lightly. A lot of races are lost at the starting line. What is the bet gonna be?

Got a case of beer on the line. Dont sound like much, but we drink the high dollar stuff so it could easily top $100, lol.

Well, my witness/camera guy got the time wrong so i didnt get any video of the races (best 2 out of 3) but ive got a case of beer coming now and hes wondering why his "dyno" slip could be so wrong on power output, lol. I toyed with him on the first run so i could see what he had, didnt try to launch hard n only used enough throttle to stay right behind him. Poor kid was all excited that he beat me. Next run i launched at 2k and went full throttle, poor kid realized i toyed with him the first run and all the money he put into his engine didnt make a lick of difference, lol. Not sure how much i got him by, but he looked kinda small in my mirrors, lol. Third run he launched too hard and smoked his tire, lol. When he met me at the finish line i asked him if he was glad i talked him out of racing for pinks... he just grunted and hung his head, lol. Tomorrow at work ill be getting a case of sam adams octoberfest unk:

Too bad you wasn't in my area... I'd have him race this one Harley in the area. 130/130 at the wheel. I saw the dyno pull and raced it for ***** n' giggles. HOLY ****! That thing is QUICK!

V45 magna is a 700cc,not a 750.

I had a 86 v45 magna.It is a 700cc-not 750.loved mine but it was no match for my vmax in performance but it was more comfortable than the vmax.

i IN 1990-1992 I HAD A 1986 GSXR1100 , I DID ALL OF THE BOLT ON **** TO IT , VANCE & HYNES HEADER , BARNETT RACING CLUTCH , SPARK ADVANCE , DYNO JETTED TO THE " T " , K&N , GOODYEAR WRINKLE SLICK , ORIENT EXPRESS WHEELIE BARS , AND ****** WITH THE SPROCKETS / GEAR RATIO ENDLESSLY ! ... BIKE WEIGHED AT BEST 420 LBS. ! .... AND WITH NO AIR SHIFTER , BUT LETTING OFF THE THROTTLE TO SHIFT , BUT LAUNCHING ON THE CHIP , THE FASTEST I COULD EVER GET IT TO GO IN THE 1/4 MILE WAS 10.15 AT 136 MPH ! ...... Did his V45 Magna look it had the stock exhaust ?
I'm just curious if it looked stock or looked to be heavily modified.
Any chance you can get a picture of it at work sometime and post it here.

It looks stockish from what i remember, wasnt paying much attention to the exhaust, lol. He rarely rides in do next time i see it ill snap a pic.

I was just curious because I posted your story over on a V4 forum where there are a lot of magna owners and they are all laughing at his ignorance and wanted to show them a picture of his "160 HP" V45. :rofl_200:
