how active is this forum

Yeah. This is the only forum I feel like I've actually made friends from. I've been on other riding forums for local groups where I had friends from the same area and what not, but I've never called people all over the country from other forums and just talked about bike stuff like we've been hanging out for years.

what about the $$ we've spent due to the MM!!!!!!!!!!!

In my mind those are two different moneys...........

This forum saves us from WASTING money at the Stealerships just to fix broken stuff.......sometimes correctly.....hardly ever at a reasonable price..........

We spend money with the MM mostly for upgrades and bling-bling, pretty much optional stuff but the bike is better afterwards and we get to enjoy it for years afterwards. Not just repaired......

But sadly, at the end of the day, our wallets don't know where the money went. It just knows that it doesn't reside inside any more.....

This site is so good, I would rather (and have) asked questions here about a different bike, than the forums meant for a particular bike (FJR to be exact). It 'looks' like a good site (both I have seen) but not near the class of mechanical smarts the people here have, or the decent people I would hang out with.
