I second that. Nothin' wrong w/econo-mods instead of dropping $1000 on a new performance system! After all, we all see that old guy hair color commercial where the dude comes back strong once he dyes his beard. Barbeque paint keeps your bike on the road in a presentable state & also keeps the big $$ in your wallet!

I think the prices of bike exhaust systems are outrageous. Not just for the Vmax either, they are all absurd. Especially when I consider I paid 300 for a custom 2.5 inch cat back system for my car. If I ever needed to replace the exhaust on this bike, which wouldn't be a bad idea, id buy a harbor freight welder and make my own...terminated with a turbo muahahahahah.
