Took three bikes with me and did a little riding while I was in the Nashville area last week to teach a Total Control Class. Was a nice trip and I got to go riding with my Daughter. It was also her first time to take the Total Control Class. This class is done with the help of www.nashvilleriders.com and Brandon and the other folks over there. Brandon has taken the class before and so in helping with these classes he also took pictures for the students. In so doing he also got some good shot of me on the Vmax as I demonstrated some of the Drills for the students. A couple shots to share here.

Thought I would share a few of the pics.

Nice.....don't normally think of the vmax as a bike requiring knee pucks.

Pretty sure that's the only Max with a trailer hitch I've ever seen also...kind of like how Corvettes don't tow campers, no?

Still the Kuyrakyn pegs on my bike are clean....dragged the edge of my boot lots of times but never seem to actually make it scrape...bike just doesn't feel confident enough to push it any harder to me.

I didn't bring my bike up this year, but I got to school in Potsdam....Watertown's not all that far away.

Well stop by when you are in the Neighborhood. This part of the state is nice as you are well aware.

HELL YA. You're a mad man. I was like "Dang, how's he doin' that?" and scrolled quickly down and something caught my eye in the last pic. "Wait, what's that that he has wrap around the back tire? Maybe its some kind of stability bar or something. Maybe that's how he's able to drag a knee." Then I scrolled up and saw that it was a trailer hitch. BWAHAHAHA!!! That's frickin awesome.

Dude, you're going to drag a hole in your britches doing that.

Whenever I thought, "Rochester just got hammered with a winter storm," then I would see the snowfall for Watertown! (from having lived in western NY)

Choose a state park to get some leaf-peeping in before the end of the riding season:

People not from NY think NY is like NYC & don't realize how much open parkland there is.

That looks like one hell of a class. I want to take it. Did you get your Max so low that your scraped the bottom?

nice pictures. Higher speeds then you can get in a parking lot would give more suspension compression and have it rubbing parts. Note his body position is what really gets his knee so close. Sitting fully on the seat would never get his knee close but would also not permit as much speed (You can achieve the same lean angle sitting upright but at less speed).

The Pegs are worn down enough that they no longer drag, I have to be careful now as the first things to touch are the stands and the frame now.

I plan to make some suspension upgrades this winter, and the steering head is also getting a rebuild to help it handle better. I already have the fork brace and the Furber frame braces.

And who wants less speed? MORE! MORE! MORE! LOL
