How Observant Are We?

Grabbed my trusty can of matte black paint the other day and thought I’d address some areas that were bothering me.

Let’s see how observant we are. Tell me what I painted.

You painted the manifold covers. They're supposed to be chrome.

The engine from the factory isn't matte black, it's a metallic gray, so it's hard to tell but it looks like you painted the cylinders as well.

You got one ….the manifold covers….cylinders are factory paint and they’re not grey.

Damn i thought it looked more satin than stock

Ha…..also Parminio you are absolutely correct…cylinders are a REALLY dark gray….black to these old eyes tho.

It was small things that were bothering me….mounting bolts on the side covers…covers on the swing arm mounting nuts…small aluminum sections under the reflector on the radiator covers…it’s the small things that catch my eye.

Looks good just the right amount of chrome to black.
