Saw on the news tonight, somebody took this families dog, a 4 yr old beagle named Daisy, wrapped her all up in duct tape, stuffed her in a garbage bag and flung her in a swamp!

Luckily some hunters found her and brought her to a local vet who got the tape off, fixed all her injuries and it now looks like she will make a full recovery.

A local realtor donated $1K reward towards the apprehension of the prick or pricks that did this. The reward money has grown to $3500 so far.....I so much hope they grab the ******* (s) responsible for this!! :damn angry:

Yeah that kind of behavior is usually an indicator that the perpetrator likely has some really deep seated issues. That's the kind of stuff serial killers do. The intent may have been to kill - but obviously the intent was to cause harm before death. IF the dog annoyed him - and the guy thought it was appropriate to kill the dog - then he likely would have done just that. But the duct tape, the river indicate something a little deeper.

I MapQuested Providence and it took me to an area where there isn't even a village, really nothing there but a couple roads. I've been all through there and never even saw a sign that said Providence.

Might be a good thing...if it's a local person, they might be able to catch them a little easier...not too many places to hide out there!

Beagles are not the quietest breed of dogs available. It probably drove some ******** neighbor up the wall to hear the barking. Still no reason to take it out on the dog. :damn angry:

If caught, this perp should be duct taped together, set in about 12 inches of bathtub water for at least a week, then sent to prison to meet Bubba.

A couple years ago around the Albany area I was driving in my truck listening to the local classic rock station(PYX106 for anyone local). It must have been request hour or something, because somebody called in and said they just saw a dog tossed out of the window of car a few lengths in front of them on the highway. The DJ got on and started rabble-rousing the listeners, and put out an "APB" on the description of the car- people were calling in like crazy about it. I don't know whatever happened with the incident, just thought it was kinda interesting. It was on the local news that night if I remember. Definitely some ****** up people floating around this world.
