i I JUST BOUGHT THIS BIKE TONIGHT , I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A CRUISER TO RIDE BACK & FORTH TO WORK , I TOWED MY TRAILER OVER 200 MILES LAST WEEK-END TO BUY A SUZUKI MARAUDER , BUT IT HAD RUST IN THE TANK & A " LEAN POP " OUT OF ONE OF THE PIPES , SO I CAME HOME EMPTY HANDED ! :bang head: .. I HAD FOUND ANOTHER BIKE AND I E-MAILED THE GUY FOR THE LAST FOUR DAYS AND HE JUST GOT BACK TO ME TONIGHT ! .. " TO LATE DICK HEAD " ! . LESSON FOR ANYONE SELLING ANYTHING , IF YOU CANT MONITOR IT , HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO IT FOR YOU ! .. I WAS WATCHING OVER 20 BIKES ON E-BAY , FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS AND ABOUT 17 OF THEM NEVER EVEN HAD GOTTEN A BID AT ALL , AND THE AUCTION ENDED WITH NO SALES , AND THE 3 THAT HAD BEEN BID ON DIDN'T SELL BECAUSE THEY HADN'T MET THE RESERVE ! . SO I FOUND THIS BIKE LAST NIGHT , HE JUST LISTED IT LAST NIGHT , I CALLED HIM ON MY WAY TO WORK TODAY , WENT TO HIS HOUSE AFTER WORK , CHECKED IT OUT , THIS BIKE IS ALMOST SHOWROOM CONDITION AND HAS A LOT OF EXTRAS , AND BILLET FORWARD CONTROLS , AFTERMARKET PIPES AND MY SON WILL FIT NICELY AGAINST THE SISSY BAR ! .. THIS BIKE IS SO NICE THAT I TOLD HIM THAT I CANT BUY IT BECAUSE ITS TO NICE ! . I'M LOOKING FOR SOMETHING BEAT-UP A LITTLE TO DRIVE BACK & FORTH TO WORK AND THAT I WILL FEEL BAD SEEING THIS BIKE SIT OUT IN THE RAIN WELL I'M WORKING OUT IN THE GARAGE , SO I ACTUALLY LEFT , GOT HALF WAY HOME AND SAID " ****-IT " I'LL GET A COVER , THIS BIKE IS BEAUTIFUL ! .. Yep, very clean! That should last a long time too. One of my friends bought a Magna & another friend did the same! The 1st gen. & both the 750's. I rode them a few times, I thought it was a good bike. One of the guys wrecked it, I put it all back together for him & I guess he lost interest in bikes, because he let it rot at my house. I finally sold it for him.

You should have fun w/that. Congratulations, Tim. Now, just don't aggravate the P.D.!

Great looking bike. I always liked Magnas too. I actually have a 1987 Super Magna which will be my first restore project. I think in the 80s they were all shaft then they switched to chain.
I am sure you will enjoy the bike!

Very nice! I've been a Magna fan since they came out in '82. My dad had an '83 V45, I had a V65 for about 5 years.

Having the Magna is nice, as they are very smooth motors, and even though you have to wind it up, it'll still outrun the vast majority of 'musclecruisers'.

Got my wife about halfway convinced into getting a Magna like yours for herself.

i had a 96 great bike good power. i smoked the clutch trying a burn out! not my thing. (burnouts) i still have the owners manual for it. fair price.
