Maybe I should mod that group to be the International Forum for Internal Combustion Freedom?

I like the original acronym, IFIF or IF-IF if you prefer. Yeah, those were some wild times, a lot of people had their Doors of Perception opened.

Internal combustion... hehehehe, the wife and kid hate that I'm a card holding member of that society. I made my wife turn green and jump out of bed bee-lining it for the toilet after one of my best "dutch ovens". Hahaha

regards from my tapatalking android...

Try working these simple 12 steps:worthy::worthy:

1. I admit I'm powerless but my VMAX isnt!
2. I came to believe that Speed over rules fear
3. Having had a spiritual awakening at 145mph I met God and we laughed at death
4. I took a searching inventory of parts and Modded what I had to
5. I showed all my friends my bike
6. Became entirely ready to hear suggestions and modify accordingly
7.Humbly ask for help Cause I dont know it all and others have outrun the cops already
8. Made a list of things others have done that I want to do too
9. Buy all the parts needed so the Monkey gets fed
10. Continue to modify and maintain on a daily basis. The Monkey needs to be healthy
11. Ride my Max daily for the soul centering peace that the speed and power deliver.
12. Having reached the Velocitus Maximus at a soul ripping speed I carry the story to other that they may follow suit.

You may find peace at the end:clapping::clapping:

WOW that was POETRY MAN:clapping::clapping: AWESOME

To us, it is more-than a 'means of transportation. Eco-weenies don't get it. They would rather trade 'carbon-credits' and 'reduce their carbon footprint.' Being a gearhead doesn't mean raping Mother Earth, and we don't race roughshod through chrysanthemum beds planted by 4-H'ers, or do donuts on golf greens.

I am recycling a 26 year old motorbike. That is a much more environmentally sound activity than buying a new Prius! :rofl_200:

I am w/you on the old bike recycling. Mine is 20 y.o. this model year.

Totally. I have never ever bought a new vehicle. Production of goods that aren't totally used up before being retired is a major waste, and I can't justify a massive bank of batteries in a brand new car based on environmental grounds. Talk about backwards logic!

I have an '85 v-max. I also have a 2002 Benelli 50cc scooter! (In modded form, it's actually a bit of a laugh.)
AND the greenies can kiss my lilly white ass! :eusa_dance:

That's what I like about my truck, approaching 30-years-old in 2013 and runs like a top, interior is immaculate.
Stroker motor, 800cfm carb, Headman headers gives it a nice sound, and not to mention it pisses off the local environmentalists :rofl_200:
Best of all I'm the second owner after my folks. So I know the entire history of it and how it was treated. When it turned 100k miles it was treated to a new engine, rebuilt trans and transfer case. so technically it only has 35k miles on the drive train. Not to mention when we had the IM program up here, it passed flawlessly.
