-No the starter relay does not click,it has full power to it but never clicks when I hit the button.

-Im ganna go pull my starter switch apart,I have not tried that one yet.
-Ganna find an old tooth brush and clean all my grounds.
-if Neither of these work Im ganna look over all the wiring on my tail section and see to it I didnt miss anythying(good call, just because it doesnt make sense doesnt mean it cant be the problem...this is a V-Max were talking about)hahaha

Ill be back in a bit to share the results

Sounds like a good direction, starter switch and grounds. As far as the Kill switch, I believe Jedi is right. Do not connect the wires together, that is basically shutting the bike off.

Clymers manuals have a nice, colored, wiring diagram in the back which shows the continutiy of all the switches in their different positions. Nice troubleshooting tool.

new tail section did not disturb any wiring so I would assue thats not a corolation.

I hear you but I like to start with the simple things first. It is too easy to go off chasing ghosts. Bike runs great ... change tail section, bike doesn't run....too much of a coincidence for me.

I'm telling you that Toxic did EXACTLY the same thing when I reversed the plugs on the two relays under the left scoop. Everything else can be perfect, but if those are reversed you get squat except the neutral light and headlight. No fuel pump, starter et al.

Alright guys, problem solved. Most obvious **** you can imagine...burned out starter button.I cleaned it and it started the fuel pump and I jumped the relay and it ran like a top.

SOOOO.Time to pay up. But I need your help deciding who wins.

The following are the 2 quotes that contained a tip in the direction of the starter button:

1-from what you describe cause I had a problem simular to that so I took apart the starter switch and kill switch and cleaned and re greased them along with the side stand switch and it worked.
I don`t know if it will do the trick but mine had alot of crap in them.

2-How about the start button? I once had a very similar problem.

The first quote came to me first but it doesnt BLATANTLY say to check it so its down to a technical win.So I need opinions, wich quote wins the prize?Keep in mind the first quote came to me first.
