Going back to the days of the GS750 being introduced, it was a better handling bike than the KZ750 or the KZ1000, but even when they introduced the GS1000 two-valve which would handle better than the KZ1000, the KZ outsold it easily. Like one of the bike magazine editors recently said (Marc Lindeman), "I found-out I have about 75 hp of talent." Some people can use what a bike has, others just want the cool bike, and that's one of the reasons why we are here, enjoying our early 1980's technology while you carp about cheap-shots taken at your much more-modern 'hamburger-ride.'

Yes, you enjoy the bike, you sold your VMax to ride something-else, but if you're gonna get all 'burdock under the saddle-blanket' on us then you know you can end all-that by finding an old dog of a VMax and by breathing new life into it. Buy an '85, get your name on the registry list, swap stories of sorting thru antediluvian electrical and mechanical problems, and everyone will say, "welcome-back to the fold!"

Until then, you're gonna have to suck it-up and put-up w/all the jokes about your 'hamburger bike' whether you like it or not. What happened in school when the guys found your weak-spot? Endless needling! I think you better grow a thicker-skin as I suspect it's not over, not by a long-shot.

Me, I'm not gonna indulge in such sophomoric scab-picking, and now, it's time for a bike ride (below) See-ya!

As long as it's all in fun, who cares. Just don't get your panties in a wad over it, anybody who has ever ridden a B-King knows they are the real deal, and by the way. I'd have a Whopper over a Big Mac any day of the week! :punk:

I know you liked your VMax. It was fun to read about your roadway antics in the presence of the MI Hoodlums.

I know you like the Burger King more for its modern performance. I also read your comments:
"I dont mind B King jokes but lets keep it funny with new jokes. The burger bikng joke is funny but old."

I 'got' what you said. "Don't make-fun of my Burger King bike (over-and-over again)!'"

I would like a BKing, but I'm just too-cheap to spring for something newer! :rofl_200:And I do prefer the Whopper to a BigMac.:hihi:

I've just never been a Suzuki kinda-guy...

We all know that bang for the buck and to go fast a nice clean low mile gen 1 is the way to go. There's all kinds of ways to make it sound bad ass but all you have to do to this bike is a set of ss delkavic's without the baffle's and for $300 you got one bad ass sounding clean bike that will take you into the 11's. To get back on topic.
