Installing vboost system to a 1997 french origin vmax without booster

I put it exactly to place where the servo should be. But the direction and the level of cable was not correct.

So i decided to make a copper pipe as a guide for the movement of activator cable.

I give relays 12v positive from headlight wire so the activator wont run while ignition switch off. I put 10 ah fuse to protect bikes electrical system.

But this is a 3-4-6-8 cylinder adjustable one, so it ll show 2/3 of real RPM but no problem, coz it wont use as rpm meter. As a simple calculation, if we wanna open butterfly at 6000 rpm it will refer to 4000 rpm at big tachometer.

This is the key circuit for opening relay at a certain RPM. It works when shift light on tacho comes on. I can adjust the RPM that when i want to open butterfly by preadjusting RPM of shift light.

I put the circuit to a small plastic cover and insulated with tape. I set it to under left air intake cover.

I know the appearance is not so attractive, but for now it is not important for me and may be later i ll hide it or replace with a smaller one...

I dont have a action cam, so i cant record a riding video. But everything is perfectly working. And now i m so happy to feel how vboost kicks...and i really think that without vboost vmax is nothing at all..But the problem is brakes, without ABS vmax is so scareful...i cant test it at higher speeds..i have 2 more bikes and i used to ride with ABS..and vmax really dont have enough brakes..300 kgs bike plus 100 kgs driver...and a thin front tire..:-(

Interesting and ingenuity on the project. Far more complex then it likely needed to be but as long as it works for you is all that matters!

Have you thought about about swapping to different brakes?
 
2 days ago i did carb sync...i dont have a vacuum gauge but i made a simple bottle type syncroniser which i learned from youtube.. and it worked well..i saw that the vacuum difference at each carb are terribly big. But luckly there are no any deformations on diaphrams. And after sync, bike is working in a perfect harmony now, good idling and good throttle reaction that i never felt before.
