Intake scoop project..

So....following my plan to make my project more 'max-like' as opposed to looking like a vrod....eeeuuuw...I'm creating some custom intake scoops that will actually work.
1st pic.....bike looks very v-rod ish
2nd is the mould taken from......

Not bad at all, have you thought of using carbon fiber? If you were nearby i have several rolls of carbon fiber cloth, including one thats aluminized, you can get that stuff off ebay. I would have gladly gave you a piece to play with.

Thanks mate...no prob....I'm planning to do them in carbon anyway....
Gonna build the pair using the mould and filler..then mould again and cast in c/f.

You and I have a lot in common, Mr. Shark (although the accents are probably much different).....Seems we both think outside the box, and are heavy into repurposing - love the conditioner bottle/fibreglass mold thingy!unk:

No.....its a coffin....100% genuine,secondhand steel coffin.
Gonna be our esky/bench seat on the bbq deck.

Nice! But i gotta say, im a lil let down... i was hoping youd say it was gonna be a V-4 powered coffin racer!

Coffin? I recall an Aussie biker mover where there is a massive parade of bikers following a lead bike that had this flat side car affair with a coffin on it, i forget the name of the film but whats different obviously was back then the largest bikes in Oz were the KZ1000, no Harleys.

Tried a few ideas....came up with this.....one piece with airbox cover...fiberglass with billet ali bits around intakes.
