I think you will have it since there is no real way to ensure the accuracy of clocks. 1 minute, I think they will let you slide. 1 hour....probably not. And man have things changed when I did mine. I was to save fuel receipts from mine, especially the start and finish ones. I have 2 time zone shifts so they had to take that into account. I didnt need odometer pictures or GPS shots. Just my fuel receipts. Since I have always been on bikes with a 100 mile range, I am extremely used to stopping every 100 for fuel. Congrats on doing the 1000.

Oh, I'm not concerned about the one minute at all. It's the 3 fuel stops with no pics and the screw-up with my GPS in the very beginning. Another thing I liked about the route I took was staying in the same time zone the whole way. Much easier to keep up with! I actually just discovered my Inreach Mini was not on daylight savings so, all its data was off by an hour. I'm really good at messing things up! I'm what you call an expert at it!

Well, the first fuel receipt will give you your clock time. So if you have that, you will be fine. If you dont....You might be right. I was a stickler to save my first and last receipts. Now bear in mind, I did mine in 2008. They were more concerned with the first and last stops. The remaining receipts allow them to plot your course. There was GPS and such....but not to the extent it is today. So I dont know what they require now. I was missing several receipts due to the time I refueled. Closed stations with pumps on but no paper for the receipts.

I got lucky at the closed stations and they all printed receipts. It was the open ones that I had to go inside to get the receipts!

Well, I finally got the time to sit down and start scanning everything to send in and I realized I have no documentation of my odometer or GPS mileage for the last two fuel stops. After the stop where my phone was dead, I felt it was over and didn't think to write down the mileages. So, it's definitely a no-go for certification now. So, looks like Labor Day holiday will be my next best attempt!

Sometimes learning how not to do it is what you need to do it correctly, experience being the best teacher. Setting an alarm for what you need to 'bring it home' could help.

Definitely! Every experience is a learning experience! The next ride should be better. I sent all my stuff in electronically on Saturday and I have to say, that process was way more of a pain in the *** than the ride was! That website really needs a workover and some clarification.

Since metric bikes have an speedometer and odometer that isnt entirely accurate, I wouldnt rely on those anyway. The start fuel stop and last fuel stop should give you your mileage. Thats what they did with mine. The fuel receipt will have the address of the station. At least thats how they calculated my mileage.

Oh! Something that really surprised me was how many receipts did not have any information about who they were! Some just said "Thanks for shopping with us!". That's great but I have no idea who "us' is! I had to use google maps to find locations and write names and addresses on some of the receipts. Crazy!

congrats we (wife and I) did it in april on our Raider. debating on doing it on the max. also trying to figure out the 50CC ride. I never sent my stuff in but I have it all on my desk.

The Vmax performed flawlessly. Just make sure you carry extra fuel just in case. I think my lowest fill-up was at 94 miles and the longest was at 119 or so. I was sucking fumes at that point! I had extra fuel but never used it.
