Nice....always a hoot to bust someone's bubble about how fast they think their Harley is. And the max is pretty much the perfect bike....HD types know better than to challenge sportbikes, but the Max is enough of a "cruiser" they think they might have a chance.

As for sportbikes, you can take a 600 in a light-to-light race, and hold it off until 80-90mph or so, then they'll walk by you....or at least that was the result against a R6.

The Honda F2 & F3 600's are almost an even match for a VMax. 11.3 1/4 mi. & 154 mph on top. The R6's should as "RaWarrior" said, leave us behind in the quarter w/a skilled rider. Still, since much of impromptu contests is "grunt," a bike like the VMax which has it, should be able to take a bike that needs to spin to 14K to make power.
