Kawasaki Z1000

Hy Maxers, unk:

Need some info about the Kawa Z1000 from 2005 to 2010.

Knowing that our Vmax got a 150,000Km and over engine and a quite rought frame and electric componment.

Buying a second hand Z1000 with-in the 2005-10 year range, how tought is those engine and other part of the bike.

Also is there good website of it :ummm:

They handle great & run like hell as far as longevity I have not researched a lot but I do know they run circles around the max in every aspect except the pure coolness & cult following of the Max.

Kawasaki engines are very reliable, I've owned several and have never had an issue. Ive always wanted a z1000, might still add one to the stable, eventually.

The later model the better. Some early problems with the first ones, electrical if I remember right. I looked at them, but just not enough power.

Now a naked ZX14.... I would dig that.
