little bit of gas/exhaust smell

My air/fuel mixture screws were out 3 1/2 turns each....little bit of gassy smell when in the garage (people were saying they can tell by the smell of my clothes when I have the bike out)
I turned them out another 1/2 turn each..... will see if that helps.
Anyone else have this problem?
I dont remember it as much with my other bikes I've had.....

Clean pilot air jets and purge jets....check for dirty air filter. Float level is important too.

I second the float level. I had a bent float needle causing a problem. You could see gas on top of one of the carbs. Fixed all that, no more gas smell.
