Wow, they are really good looking. Granted I Dont have the extra to spend for a set

Do you mean this as in "more of them"? I purchased the long folding units from them already and they are sweet! The same size as the stock levers.

I read it as fold up with adjustable length.
Sounds like a hamburger with the lot.

I just left pos feedback on the purchase.
There must have been a surge on buyers, the price just went up $20.

They're showing 4 left of the 2 finger model.

KJ,

I agree the price went up twenty dollars from what I had thought they were for the Yamaha 2 Finger levers. Here is something interesting though. The Honda ones are twenty dollars cheaper than the Yamaha ones now. Here are the two links for the levers. Can anyone see the difference or know if they are interchangeable? Looks like it may just be a generic picture though in both listings.

i'd say they're just stock photos. use the legit vmax listings. if you look close there are like 4-5 different levers there too.

I'm so happy here I cant stop smiling :clapping::clapping::clapping:...........Its like xmas in April...yippee!!! Our long awaited desire has been answered for adjust levers at a reasonable price! They match up and work better than stock. Very little to no play at all. Great packaging and awesome product!:punk:

But they're made out of aluminium too, right? So they will develop play.

It may be a great idea to do the 'clutch lever mod' while they're brand new - drill the hole a little bigger and insert a strong steel cylinder that fits perfectly over the bolt..

Thats the first thing I did :clapping:
Just used the sleeve from the one I did on the stock clutch.

Pardon the dust, I've been working in the garage a lot lately.

Just ordered the two finger levers in silver with black adjusters. Talked to Bazwell since he also got the silver ones and he said they could easily be polished up. Now we're talking. KJ, could you provide a quick write up about this sleeve mod you did? What size and so forth and maybe a pic or two? Thanks.

I'm headed out the door to go to class, but I can do that.

Basically, in a nut shell.

I went to the hardware store and bought a cylinder that matches (or closely matches) the one on the brake's lever.
Then found a bolt, nut and washer to go with it.
The brake lever parts (cylinder, bolt, nut) are a good place to start for reference. Then is was just a matter of drilling out the lever to accept the cylinder.

Ok, that seems pretty self explanatory. I've never had the levers off so wasn't sure what was involved. So the stock sleeve has some play in it that allows the lever to move around? Are they tight when new and get looser over time? If that's the case it seems the same would happen eventually with the new levers and bigger sleeve.:ummm:

Whats wrong with using the stock cylinder? Its tight on mine now? Why would I want to drill it out bigger now?

I've kept the email communications open with Amy. Here's the latest news.
They are now doing the fold up levers with adjustable length. These are obviously some of their generic stock pics, not the vmax ones.

I can't see them listed yet, but I'll get her to put them up.

They have gone up by US$20, so if you got in quick, well done!
From what I have seen, and the reports so far, $80 is still a good deal. She got our attention though. Good for her.

For all I know it's an ugly old chinese dude with one eye, 2 stubby fingers from a lathe accident, and a drinking problem who calls himself Amy. :rofl_200:

There isn't a cylinder on the clutch side. only the brake side.

i can't imagine it's that difficult. they ahve the 'blank lever' part for any bike and then just bolt the adjuster and bike specific adapter to it eh?

That's how it looks to me!

I'm having a hard time via email convincing Amy that you can't advertise "Fits all year V-max".
I'm trying to tell her that everyone else is wrong, and that her levers fits 1985-2007 only. The 2009 on levers are completely different.

That's right isn't it? I haven't gone mad... yet? :ummm:

Thats right, '85-2007.
The jury is still out as far as the madness :biglaugh:
