$6,800, 34K miles. Lots of extras. I'd check the VIN # on this one, to be sure it's a 20th anniversary, as the faux gas tank badge is missing the number (attach.). Here's how it should appear (attach.) The small engraved badge, "xxxx/2000" is a separate piece of thin metal glued to the faux tank cover emblem. Someone using a power buffer or a pressure washer could easily have removed it inadvertantly.

If memory serves, the badge without the number is a factory badge, but Yamaha would not engrave any numbers on replacement badges for that very reason: forging a bike.

So it's either the bike was wrecked and fixed or somebody stole the original badge off of it and he had to order a replacement.

One of our members had an episode where, after washing/drying their bike, they saw the glue-on number plate was gone. He searched the area where he'd washed the bike, and found it. The 20th anniversary (picture of the engine and left scoop) badge was intact.

Last time I looked at a dealer's fiche website, the 2005 badge was not available even-as a OEM paint (code is DRMK) body part for the faux gas tank cover, complete. The round side badges for the faux tank are still available @ $24/apiece (part #44 and #45).
