bike i'm getting has a kerker 4-2-1 on it. the can is peeling pretty bad and it just doesn't look real clean to me. i really like the cobra slash cuts but don't wanna go 4-2. i wanna keep the 4-2-1. does anyone make a slip on that will fit on the kerker exhaust and just replace the silencer?

Do you like black ?

Kerker , 4-2-1 , formerly with peeling chrome , sent to Jet Hot coatings through Sean , shortened C.F. Kerker can . Black & loud !

Get a hold of Sean for a Kerker carbon muff like I have. Or get a suppertrapp 2.5" muff. I'm going to switch to the supertapp in the fall. There are several muffs you can add to the 4-2-1 pipe. It's just a matter of looking.

Are you still looking for a new can for your Kerker? I have a carbon one I just removed from my Kerker setup. It was made by HMF and is a direct fit. Very nice sound and its in excellent condition. Under 4k its not too loud, but above 5k still has that Kerker scream. I bought a Mark's exhaust and no longer have a need for it.

PM me if interested.

lethal dose, the word on the street is the cobra makes your bike lose HP. think it was sean morley (one2dmax) who did the testing

without a doubt you will lose HP. We are getting ready to use two cobra's on a 300 tire bike we have in the shop. Have to do some serious exhaust mods to get it around the beast.

I dyno'd my 95 with cobra's when I first bought the bike and it was down to like 96rwhp. I felt so much like a Harley rider :surprise: I updated to the trapps which took me back up to around 120rwhp. Happy camper :eusa_dance:

My stock 88' made 108 with a Kerker. Stock jetting . My new Mark's made 116. Stock jetting . Sean also makes a big outlet kerker can. Should be much better than stock one. Rand

How the heck did your stock carbs with a kerker setup make 108? 108 is what the stock rwhp is to start with? Something doesnt seem right here?

108-118 is also my compression ratio. Things get old and wear out. Just ask me about that.

Not a real HP junkie, here. I'm more of an "all eyes on me" type. Anyone ever experiment with chrome steel slashcut tips on the kerker pipe? I'd love to keep the chrome look but my can is peeling and I know that aluminum and chrome don't mix well... talked to supertrapp and they said this was a real problem so they quit mfging them in chrome.
