They're probably similar, the ones I use have diamond chips on the end and are also hollow but are made to withstand 2000 lbs of pressure with my strong-arm drill rig. I hope yours are cheaper too mine cost about $85 each

I have most of the major mods done, so I figured I would post up some picks.
At the end of last summer this was a stock 1997. I had bought it new in 97. And basically just rode it. Last summer it developed a high speed wobble, and I decided it was time to do something about the suspension. Well, one thing led to another, now this is where it's at.

Radial Metzler tires
RC Comp 18" rims
Notched and flat braced swingarm
Works shocks
Racetech springs and emulators
Solid motor mounts
Frame brace
Billet fork brace
Mark's 4-2 exhaust
New scoops and side panels
Painted blue
Morley seat with "VMAX" logo
LED brake and running lights
7" head light bucket
HID headlight

Cop runner that is one sweet looking head light, great job! I didn't even notice the Dalmatian in the back ground until you mentioned it, we had a Dalmatian family member for ten years before we had to put him down do to severe arthritis.

i THANKS ABOUT THE HEADLIGHT ! .. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT ! .. :punk: .. MY DALMATIAN IS 12.5 YEARS OLD , AND HAS ARTHRITIS ALSO , I JUST STARTED HIM ON " RIMADYL " AND IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING , SO WISH ME LUCK !

Ridin Dirty: Wow, nice transformation from stock....:clapping:

Thanks Spec, It just sort of snowballed into a full project, when I just started out to do a few suspensions mods. It's to late to stop now!

not that i ever thought i could ever compete with the likes of yall's monster monkeys--i'm still trying to get the basic mods in order (fork springs, exhaust, jet kit, etc etc) but just keeping it running is the first order of business. as such, my monkey funds are always tapped dry each month. but i did manage one, here is my "no-chance-in-hell" entry.:rofl_200:

Not an entrant so much as a check-in. This past weekend, Deleted both Fenders, all paint, windscreen, down one mirror, and re-located and installed a new tail light. Distancing myself from the Electric, Color Changing Barney Purple machine it was when I got it.

Im in, although I didnt do the work (seems Im always busy doing something for somebody else) I did work out a deal with John @PCW to swapout the EFI for some carbs I bought from jims1967vmax( thanks Jim) PCW got a bunch of spare parts(including the EFI) And I got A very good running, CARBURATED VMAX,that is also now 3 inches longer and sporting C.O.P.'s. (thanks Gannon)

Im sure that theres more deserving entries as I didnt do the work myself, but I did appease the MOD MONKEY and Didnt have to break the bank! so while I was building seats for someone else's monkey, my monkey happy!

That became a Wild Assed Bike literally overnight... I know the guy was in such a rush near the end, you didn't have time for photo's that would have really made your work shine... Even though I'm not a fan of the colors the guy chose, You did a fine job of making his wishes come true...

I'll still call it "Agent Orange".....:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
