I thought having a common thread that everyone can post pic's and info on their ride for the day or whatever would be great it will keep the thread alive. And make an interesting read for a newcomer to the site or one of us for that matter.

It would almost be like opening a book and reading through the pages of time with input from all the forum members.

I'll start it then with this ...

Beautiful weather in Texas lately and I just can't get enough of the Vmax. Found my self heading out after work today and across State lines into Oklahoma :) plus a few pics from the other day around Denton.

Rode across Atlanta today east to west to see a friend & V-Max owner & V.M.O.A. Georgia Rep , John V.

Bench raced & shot the bull for a couple hours and blasted back 'cross town in rush hour traffic. Took me about 35 minutes from Conyers to Powder Springs . ( Nobody passed me lol )

Surprised him twice , as he wasn't expecting a visit , and I wasn't on either Max ! :rofl_200::rofl_200:

gas stop on the way back. We were burning lots of gas doing double the NH highway speed limit.

My max and the other 3 at the very top of Whiteface mountain- The elevation. 4800ft might not seem like much to the Rocky types but for around here that's pretty high.

aargh, the uploader isn't working "500 internal server error" . photobucket it is.

Honestly I can't take 100% credit for the idea. We have a similar thread on another forum that I am active on. But nevertheless it's awesome and will be a great collection of wonderful memories for all. :)

Awesome !!! This thread is already in motion :clapping::clapping::clapping:

Ride to Turner Falls Oklahoma with my buddy. No Vmax, but we took his Suzuki M109R and Boulevard C90T for the trip.

What a great idea, I will definitely post some pics when the snow will finally melt! First rides are done already at +3 Celsius :D I have a plan to get a GoPro cam for this season and I think it would be nice also to see some members Youtube uploads / adresses here too. Quite often I check out the Youtube in case that any new VMax related videos would be available but it would be easier to get information here. What do you think fellow riders?

Although I took this trip up for work to deliver a small box truck to the Chicago land area. I did stop and meet with Lugan to get a shorter kickstand. We chatted briefly, took a photo of me next to my bike.
MeinChicago.jpg

Then I left but after I got home I got a video from Lugan with the photo he took. I brought a friend to ride with me. So you will see my friend and me riding down the street caught on tape or so to say.
Short video
Ended up taking a lot longer to get out of Chicago land than I thought. I enjoyed the ride and even more when I hit the highway to make miles.

Now there's somthing you don't see everyday.................A V-Max running the speed limit!...................:ummm:......................Tom.

Here's a Shot at a Local State Park, with Downtown Buffalo, NY in the Background.

PS
My front Tire isn't really Bald, it just looks that way in the picture because I was focusing on Buffalo off in the Distance and not on the Max.

Well I was in Chicago and there was traffic every where and people would jay walk. They would just walk out into traffic like not a care in the world. I was being careful not get hurt and watch out for pot holes with basements. I still ended up busting a shock while there, I found a pot hole with a sub basement, I almost was thrown from the bike.

I know what you mean........I've been caught in situations like that myself, sh!t roads, heavy traffic, etc............too bad about the shock, did you make it home 2 up with it broken or did you score a replacement in Chi Town?......................tom.

Dman how do you keep that helmet with the bill on at 90mph. I through my atv helmet on and went for a ride and tryed hanging with an FJ and at 90mph my head rocked back so hard i thought it broke my neek.

My gal and I managed to get a few miles in this past Sunday, riding north from Chicago IL up to Kenosha WI, via the lake front. Along the way we stopped to take in the architecture of the "Bahai" temple - apparently the only one in North America. Very interesting structure and not as old as I thought it might be. Rode past it dozens of times, and now I have an idea of what's inside.
Apart from some gusty winds pushing her little Suzuki around, we both had a good day. .

An older pic of my first '96 Vmax which I painted black (it was originally red - a Canadian bike). Pictured just past Whistler BC - the "usual" ride Vancouver based motorcyclists take on the weekend. Beautiful scenery that I miss!

LOL, I wear A Full Face Helmet when I'm feeling like a Hooligan.
I only wear that Half Helmet when I take short rides around town and stay under 70 or so. :)
