No Pics on this one, but rode in to work today, and got completely lost on the way home. And it was kinda cool, to cruise around on the back roads of pa, with no where to be or go at any time.

Saterdays ride to NY for a day at the drags, went up with Remaxed and met itgoes and tyjohnson from the SVMF. Itgoes didnt have his bike and was nice enough to bring some tools and a compressor:punk:.

Parked the bikes together after a central California ride today. Carmel Valley Road.... Magnificent! My dad been riding for 40 years and he claimed this was the best ride he ever took. Took the 954 and the Vmax, great bikes help make great trips!

Thought I would throw one or two up....

My Stable.... Dad came in for the weekend so we got the horses out.

Might throw up some from the trip when I have them uploaded.

VMax Club of Finland official meeting was held in the City of Lahti - Messil? Holiday Center and I took some photos. Our driving season has just started, still a little cold, so we didn?t have too may participants but fun anyways. Just the other day we got news that the traffic police is beginning to measure motorcycle decibel levels to see if we go by the law. For 1985 model it is allowed to have max 106 decibel (at 4500 rpm). One of our members had a decibel meter with him and I had 104,9 so I?m safe for now :D

Thats just awesone. Thanks for sharing. I think the Vmax is probably the only bike that has such a long standing international fan base.

This weekend some friends and I attempted to ride to a meetup in South Western Wisconsin, but due to a rain front in that area, we rode West to Galena IL and eventually made our way back to Chicago via what back roads we could. Aside from getting caught in a few downpours, and one riding mate running out of gas, it was a good day in the saddle.

John,
That looks like it would be a Fun Road to ride, as long as there is no oncoming traffic !
That's a Great View in that Picture you posted.

You'll get much more tourists/cyclists/camper vans as the summer warms up so this is the best time of the year to get out and disturb the peace and quiet

Earl found a website that covers some Cool Rides in the South East US. Some of them give road details like what to watch out for and where are good places to take breaks.

http://www.2uptouring.com/Volumes/090701-FL-Motorcycle-Rides.aspx

We headed across the Skyway Bridge and off to some back roads I've never seen before... Earl and Amy had taken their FZ1 Saturday and mapped some roads out. They realized I'm fighting health issues so they were set up for rides from 70 to 150 miles... We ended up doing about 90 miles and I survived.

The pictures are of the stops we made along the way. The Skyway Bridge pictures are from the south park. Also got a picture across the bay of Tropicana Field. Used to be The Thunder Dome... I got to lead a bike procession through it many years ago. Mary held the POW/MIA Flag on the back of the bike then....

My Vmax missed a little before we started then cleared. Ran fine till we got off the interstate close to home. Then it stalled at every stop light unless I held the idle up around 2,000 RPM. Think it's a plug or crap in one carb.....

The daily storms finally broke. Weather was absolutely gorgeous. No better day for my MaxGasser's maiden voyage. The seat was All That and a bag of chips. The wife and I hooked up with friend couple from the do-jang and cruised down US-1, crossed over onto A1A stopped at one of the local favorite mom-n-pop's seafood restaurants. After some clam chowder, fish sandwiches, and shrimp basket, took A1A up to Eau Gallie and stopped over at the stables to visit the wife's horse and to pay board. Called it a day and took the insterstate home. We shared a few good "100mph" stretches and a friendly line launch.
