Hey Ryan,

Thank you! I have something entirely new I hope to try this summer for the hot rod... running that methanol was a pain in the.... Sorry got a lot off topic. Your Lloyd Alexander is a neat little ride! Don't know much about them. What do they have for an engine?
A 4-stroke 19hp air cooled twin. It was a big engine version...lol. Some earlier Lloyds came equipped with 11hp 2-strokes. The (1950-53) first Lloyds came with fabric over wood bodies. I think all of those are gone.

While were off topic Here is a 69 Tiger 650 that was brought to me in Pieces a couple weeks ago back in one piece now. I actually got to ride it yesterday.

I remember when they were considered a big bike. LOL I've got one of those with 2 carburetors waiting patiently for restoration... too many projects! I just couldn't pass this one up. Everything is there but it's been sitting for a long time. Put up a gallery in my profile 1970 Bonneville T120

Ya know I've never seen a Lloyd before now. There was something about it that kept making me think I had. Now I know once you mentioned the 2 stroke version. The Trabant peoples car from East Germany. Got stuck behind one in a traffic jam on the autobahn once and we all nearly had to go to the hospital for oxygen therapy. LOL We were pleading for people to let us get in the other lane... but they all pretended they didn't know English.

That is a landing gear he desighned & built for a corsair RC plane really intricate work when you look at it close no welding involved he built it all really precise.

I had a generator like that, got it off the side of the road, 4 stroke. It was put-out w/the trash in a $$$ neighborhood, about a block down the street from H. Wayne Huizenga's (Miami Dolphins, Joe Robbie Stadium, Blockbuster, Waste Management, FL Marlins) $12 million + waterfront home in Ft. Lauderdale FL. A carb kit & good cleaning got it running.
