They are under my thighs cause of my forward controls so they are actually behind my legs. And if I worried that much about being safe I wouldn't ride a Vmax.

Those are awesome! Did you hand make those?

Yea Rusty I had them on last year but with the circles just didn't fit the look of the bike so I took my jig saw with a fine tooth blade and cut the flame design using the holes as the insides of the flames. But they've been quite a bit more work than they probably look but once I get them to a mirror finish they should look pretty good. I mainly put them on today just to see if all the cutting filing and sanding, wet sanding then polishing was worth the effort. I think they look good and I know nobody has a set just like these. Lol, so yea, and Thanks!

Feel free to critique. Not that it really matters cause I worked my *** off and I like them but I'm curious of what you guys think. Thanks, Ed

Looks good ed. It to soft to hold a polish so get them chromed. Make sure to use copper when chroming. It might crack after a while and maybe the chrome might help it last longer. Very cool look ed.

Thanks Mike, these for some reason are the biggest PITA to get polished like my other Billit but I think this is a way inferior metal compareitivly so I may take your advice and just get them chromed. Hit me up if you ever wanna ride. Thanks, Ed

KJ, thanks again for the idea. I used a jigsaw after a couple attempts with a dremel and a cutting wheel but I couldn't get the turns I needed and I think the plates were too thick but it turned out ok so far. Thanks again bro, Ed

Looks awesome Ed, love the lights behind them too!
Definately chrome them, that will be the icing on the cake...:clapping:
