Here are a couple that came in the back yard last year, for size comparison, thats a 5' fence in the back. I saw three while out on a ride yesterday, late afternoon. Moose season is in full swing up here now.

I have a pound of moose burger thawing as we speak for some 'sketti for football tomorrow :clapping:

You guys with the critter meat are KILLING me:bang head:

Quite common where I used to live.

In fact - during my younger years, a friend and I were walking train tracks - and decided to run though a section of the bush..

We came nose to nose with a smaller moose. All of his fur was falling off for a seasonal change. He looked at us, then turned and ran away.

I have also seen them dozens of times ont he highways.

I also have a friend who ended up int he back seat of his car under one of the things. He is lucky to be alive.

They can get quite massive!

lots up here, gotta make sure you dont hit one with the truck, well if ya do as long as you live to pick it up and chuck it in the back and take it home lol.

Buddy sent me these the other day.
0ver 8' at the hump (approx), and possibly 12' at the top of his antlers.
Small park road out near Elliot lake.
By the length of his beard and the gray on his legs , estimate around 12yrs old.
Monster gran daddy.
