Here's some more pictures I took along with some notes of interest. The one picture of the variable intake you can see a bit of them in the gap between the faux tank and the scoop. They wouldn't remove the faux tank so I could get a better look. It looks like the faux tank is harder to take off than the 1st Gen models. Also the saddest news, is that once this bike has finished it's "tour", it gets crushed! :sad2: I was shocked by the design of the swingarm that they were able to fit a driveshaft in there! I believe I read that there is 2 CVs or universal joints in it.

Great pics Buster..... that swingarm is going to be even trickier to extend....

I will hate to see what Otec will be charging for one of those....

Wow, cool! I talked to Mr. Rodgers yesterday and am impressed! It sounds like Yamaha continues to make changes based on feedback!

Cool maybe they will add some chrome and get rid of that goofy ass headlight.

Well concidering it is longer than the exisitng old one, that may not be a reqirment anymore...

But man im way impressed with the new arm....far far better than the old one.... with a new wheel the 240 tire becomes bolt on....

The wheel manufacturers hopefully will make a wheel wide enough for the 240.

Awesome pics! Now send me some of those forum cards to hand out... :eusa_dance:

I can email you the photoshop files of the card if you want to print some. They are printed front and back.
