More horsepower than a Humvee!

I'm watching a Military Channel show on the Humvee and they claim 190 horsepower from the deisel engine, less than the "heavy" 2009 Vmax!

I know the Humvee's probably got a couple dozen times the torque, but that's still an amazing comparison. I'm going to hop on the bike now, can't resist.

For what it's worth, I looked up some military humvee numbers and the 190hp is a turbo version, with the non-turbo humvee around 160-170hp. Torque is around 400 ft-lbs, so the Vmax has a little more horsepower and about 1/4 the torque of the humvee. I'm impressed.:biglaugh:

That is impressive!! I'm also liking the nickname "The Heavy," IMO that really works for the Gen II! :thumbs up:

Wow, I would have thought the humvee would come with a tad more HP than that.

And to think for the low low price of $15,800 you can have a 600 hp, twin turbo '09 :biglaugh:
