I have the truck to my son. It's a 5.2 5 spd with a 9.25" rear end with 3.92 sure grip rear end.

I ran a 14.70 out of the truck bone stock on 31 tall muddle tires with bad wheel hop. Its a good solid mid to low 14 sec9nd ride. They were faster than the R/T 5.9's were.

Not bad...
I do know that I need to replace the sure-grip in my rear. Thinking of going with one of them gear driven units. Make a nasty loud clack sound every turn, but damn, I hear they are bullet proof

130k miles, with some seriously hard starts... (hey, that guy in the Mustang thought he could take me! lol)

Mines got the 4.7... i miss the sound of my 95 that had the 318, but a quad cab and getting away from a tetinis shot on wheels became a necessity, lol.

I always thought of doing a supercharger on this, or if I went crazy an LS motor with a turbo.
