- VMax Year
- 2000
Hello all! Figured I would get a post going showing all I have done to my V-Max in the month or so that I have had it!
First added a fairing, I could NOT handle all the wind hitting my chest at the higher speeds. And swapped over to some drag bars to get my upper body more over the tank coming from an R6, that just felt right!
Next, I had the tins wrapped gloss black to match the fairing, as the clear on the factory carbon was fading. I also have hard bags sitting in the garage that are gloss black so it just made sense to have it all match rather than try to save the clear with cutting and buffing.
Added the sissy bar (snipped it in a FB group for $200 bucks with the rear rack!), powdered the scoops gloss black and added neon yellow lettering (there will me a few more parts powdered yellow for accent!) and did the CBR tail light conversion.
Man did it make the back look damn amazing! I wont be rocking the sissy bar all the time, but will be doing some big trips soon so figured I would swap it while doing the tail light since it was already apart. Wish it was quicker to swap back and fourth
This weekend or the weekend after I will begin to figure out a way to get these hard saddlebags mounted up and post back with pics!
