Mostly stock with some costmetic changes. Good starting point to mod lol. Or just ride and have fun.

I think enjoying riding again for now is the plan.

His brother started to black out the bike. I have the LED black out brake light and signal lights to swap out.

My son-in-law gifted me with a 1993 VMAX which has been is his family since 1998. What a beast of a bike!

I love riding but haven’t had a bike since about 2008 when I sold my 1983 750 Seca.

Now I want to rekindle my love of riding and enjoy some long overdue cruising.

It's been a while since your post, but I'd like to add some information. That’s such a big milestone, and it sounds like you’re celebrating in style. I have to say, custom hawaiian shirts are the perfect gift! They’re not just fun but also bring a bit of sunshine into everyday life. Every time you wear one, it’s like you’re on a mini vacation, even if you’re just hanging out at home.
I’ve always loved how colorful and unique they are, just like the memories you’re creating this year. Plus, they’re great conversation starters! It’s awesome that you’re treating yourself to something that makes you feel good. Here’s to many more birthdays filled with joy and amazing Hawaiian shirts. Can’t wait to hear all about your celebrations!

I suggest checking the frame alignment, the front end, the steering stops, and the front wheel out-of-round as that 1993 bike has a 1985-'92 complete front end on it. I have seen the steering stops mangled or even missing after an accident.

Is the steering stem VIN foil badge still there? It will say what year the bike is, and for what market it was built. I believe for the Canadian market there is a maple leaf on the stem. Members have also reported them on the right side lower frame just in front of the riders footpeg bracket. I don't have a pic of that one.
