That is very doable, completely understand.
Now I can see what would fill in the gap and what it would look like. See the image, is an FJR. The fabricated piece from the lower front of the seat back. Now envision such a piece fabricated and painted the 2005 stock red. The fabricated piece could start at the lower front of the front seat and go on back to the rear of the rear seat, flattening out the rear seat, taking out the pointed lower piece on the front of the rear seat.
Maybe I will try to draw on the computer.
