Got a letter from my "union" health insurance.

"your health coverage, offered by the Southern Tier Building Trades Plan, does not meet the minimum standards required by the affordable care act."

"your health plan has stated that meeting this minimum limit would result in a significant increase in your premium"

at the bottom of the letter it says If i have any concerns about my plan or other health care options, I should go to WWW.Healthcare.gov.
The whole thing makes me sick. lie, after lie, after lie :damn angry::damn angry::damn angry::damn angry::damn angry::damn angry::damn angry:

Some doctor called in to one of the radio talk shows and said "That's the definition of a stool sample."

This will probably get deleted but here goes. I'm the business manager of a doctor's office in a small town in Texas that is near Dallas.

The other day a very nice older lady who is an established patient stopped to talk to me about Obamacare. I always attempt to say as little as possible about it but she wanted to talk. She said all the usual things, then she matter-of-factly stated "I think it's time for the military to kill him. They killed Kennedy, why have they not killed Obama? That would fix all this mess."

Now if I had said that, it would be one thing...I'm a rabid right wing capitalist and I don't believe that Obama is a citizen of the US anyway so his presidency, to me, is not legitimate. I say stuff about him all the time and nobody listens to me anymore which is fine.

But when a little old lady who normally wouldn't hurt a fly suggests something so drastic, we've entered a "whole nuther world" of public sentiment. She obviously got her letter. Now think of all the people who are going to get one...millions in the end. We are approaching a critical social mass. I'm just not sure what that means. But I think it's not going to be pleasant.

It's not just The Feds who are into our pockets. Pinellas County has come up with a new tax. Because we have a house on our property, they say that prevents the water from soaking into the ground as well as it would if the house wasn't here. We're being charged an extra $116.00 a year to cover the drainage into the sewer system and because of the possibility the streets may flood ?????????? In the 32 years I've lived here and the 65 years my wife has lived on this property it's never flooded. We're at 43' on the top of a ridge. One of many new BS Taxes imposed by Govt., Fed, State and Local.. Americans are all bending over for all of this.. Time we stopped the BS......

On BO Care................................. We haven't been threatened with cancelation but our Co Pays are going up 25 to 600% next years. If our Dr's don't retire over this POS Health Care we will likely still have them.

same question here. A couple anti religious threads were deleted/closed, and aside from those wholesale actions i didn't see any of your [or anyones actually] posts moderated, deleted, anything, have you experienced otherwise?

To insinuate that the mods are going around deleting posts without informing the owners, is, as far as i know, not accurate.

/facepalm. Wow, I've heard Pelosi say a lot of stupid things, but didn't hear about that one. That's a VERY accurate description by the Dr.

I will say this....Buster and ALL of the mods are very generous with having a place like the burnout pit that you can discuss things, and even vent about things. This is one of the reasons why the forum is great.

There are a LOT of forums out there....that you CANT express a view point.
