Need help identifying a part...

I'm trying to figure out what the item circled in red on the attached picture is. It looks like some sort of hose nipple and I'm wondering if I'm missing something. After owning this bike for a couple weeks nothing the previous owner might have done will surprise me.

It's the bleeder screw for the clutch slave cylinder.

It normally has a little rubber piece over it to keep the crud out.

Thanks, I'll try a vacuum cap. I think I have some laying around.
