Hey team..

I'm hopefully going to be a 2009 VMAX owner soon...thinking about buying a bike in Richmond, VT and having it shipped to Illinois.

Any chance anyone in the vmax family that lives near there help check it out for me? My concern is only the rust (doubt it though).

If you're willing to help, please PM me. I dont want to disclose which bike, for fear of losing a good buy..

thanks

I respect your not wanting to disclose too many details, but rest assured that there is only one person here who doesn't honor the words, "I call dibs"; and he appears to have stopped frequenting the forum after getting pounded by the members. Hahaahaha

Rust? On a 2009 VMax?

Not sure what would rust on it.......or corrode for that matter, it would have to have been sitting outside beach front the whole time. Parts are either painted, clear coated, or plastic.....very little steel that would be susceptible to rust.

You guys are great.

I am actually just bite the bullet and have it shipped. In the process of sending money over..hopefully will have the 09 by 7/4.

excited and nervous...coming from a Honda CBR 1000, so not worried about speed...but just about the weight and seat height...i'm a short guy.. 5' 4" (last I checked, aint growing anymore).

Good for you! You will love it!

I understand Mr. Morley makes an awesome cut seat that will lower you in the saddle......you may want to make that your first mod. The bike is very stable once it gets rolling but......you'd want to get both feet flat on the ground if possible when stopped.
