That's the spirit, love what you ride. My ass will only be planted on a VMax....until I get too old for that kind of speed and power, I'll want something that goes slow so I'll probably get a Harley! I keed I keed!!:biglaugh:

I'll bet my 1974 Suzuki TS185 is faster than the new Max. Nothing could ever beat a Suzuki, EVER! If the media says different then they are liars! :biglaugh:

i know I KNOW....I WOKE UP...i see now!!

LIARS L I A R S!!!..... SUZUKI IS LORD!

While we're bashing Suzukis...how about that reportedly 191-hp, 400-lb Gixxer 1000? Could be kinda fast, no?

I'd still imagine the max with enough traction would trounce it to 120-130mph.

The torque, the gearing, and the power band of the vmax is unmatched really.

Wouldn't call it bashing, just some people seem to think nothing can beat their Suzuki. I like Suzuki, dirt bikes anyway. Sounds like the Gixxer you're speaking of would be a tough one to beat. Careful with that kind of HP and light weight, could be a death trap!

And they aren't already? Even the 600's can go over 160 mph and do a high 10's quarter. If they had bikes like this when I first started, I wouldn't be here now!!:stretche:

True, I was implying with that power to weight ration the slightest twist of the throttle would result in you being on your back with a 400 lb bike on top of you.
