New Custom ONE PIECE shafts/gears

From what I can tell, the shaft comparison that Sean posted is the newly machined gear that delivers power to the drive shaft/pumpkin/ rear wheel. This new gear shaft fits into the Madmx drive unit (shown in another post, it is what Jedi re-engineered) that runs off of the back end of the Vmax transmission.

Jedi is a good machinist and gear cutting service is his day job at his own company if Im not mistaken. He did a good job - this is how it should be done form the beggining. Im not sure where
madmax got an idea of welding hardened steel but for sure not in any book I know. It still can be done by welding but this will require unhardening first.

This setup still can brake under some drastic loads but as for the daily use it shoould be just fine.

I can see that he also changed the goove profile.
