New Flashers

Hi,I put new L.E.D. flashers on the back and now they blink fast and blow fuses .How can I fix this problem?.

#11 in this thread shows a flasher install and a diod install that takes care of the fast blink rate.

I don't know why you would be blowing fuzes, unless you have the wires wrong on the brakelight or turns.

Fast flashing is normal but yeah the fuse blowing up its a wrong wiring...

So I dont need a new flasher relay just change the wiring set up?.

The relay will change slow your flash speed only. If you don't mind them being a little quicker, then no. If you use the relay you lose auto cancel.

Ok ,not sure what auto cancel is but i JUST connected the yellow wires out of the leds to the brown? wire and the black to black wires ( I am colored blind so sometimes this can be hard.I ran the motor for a few min and tried each side and she seems ok other than a little fast .I can live with that.I have a tight space in my garage so the old ones in the back got in the way.Thanks guys ,I would be lost without this message board!!!.

It's where the turn signals cancel themselves after a certain interval.
