Hi new member just got hold of an 1985 full power not ran for 14 years had the carbs rebuilt new fuel pump new fuel lines got it running but only on 3 cylinders number 3 is not running got good spark and fuel getting in any ideas thanks jeff
 
Will it cut in & run at higher rpm's? Just not at low rpm's?

Welcome Jeff, how did you prep to run after the nap? You run compression checks wide open? Also, these carbs require a THOROUGH clean, Ultasonic etc.
Most mystery running issues lie in carbs on the Max is why I'd go all in on a carb clean/rebuild.

Got the carburetors rebuilt at exatrep so should be good
 
Well, try switching the missing cyl's coil with the other coil adjacent to it, and see if the miss 'follows' the cyl switch.

Cyl #1: LR
Cyl #2: LF
Cyl #3: RR
Cyl#4: RF

Sitting on the bike.

Think of drawing the letter N, starting at the Cyl #1 position.
