Hi all,
Thanks for accepting my membership, I've been a long time fan of the vmax but have never owned one. I rode a friend's Gen1 vmax & loved the riding position. So much more relaxed compared to my current ride an old school modded zzr1100, I've owned an fjr1300 & several other bikes. I'm considering a Gen2 vmax but my only concern is parts availability as these bikes are so rare & tank range is too small. Not to mention these bikes are quite expensive here in Australia. I'm from Melbourne Australia.
Thanks again,
Mark.

Hi Mark, welcome, don't stress about parts, the Gen 2 is bullet proof, normal service items are freely available, the fuel range, you get used to & if you want to spend a little cash you can order a 22 liter aluminum fuel tank from the Netherlands. The Gen2 is a blast, what you do need to worry about is tires, the original Bridgestones have been discontinued, however there are other alternatives, trust me, rear tires don't last, mine seem to evaporate. You will gain a stack of knowledge here & everyone is most helpful, Happy New Year, but that's old news already in Australia.
