as i said in another post i broke the 3-way toggle switch that comes with the t-boost...:bang head:

where would you guys go to get a new one? thought since it broke i could do something neat.. any places online for some cool 3-way toggle switches? Maybe radial or something.

seems like there are some simple replacements at like radioshack or my local servicestar but wondering if any of you had any suggestions...

thanks guys...

hey what is the difference between on-off-on and on-none-on?

On-Off-On : Discrete middle position
On-None-On : Transient middle position

With a double-throw switch, ON - NONE - ON means it's a two position switch - pushed one direction, one set of poles is connected to the center poles. Pushed the other direction, the other set of poles is connected to the center poles.

ON - OFF - ON adds a center position where nothing is connected to the center poles.

I think its like on-none-on, is like Hi-lo switch, like fan speed.

and the on-off-on is 1 switch, two functions. like one way is one set of lights and the other is a different light so to speak.

so i def want on-off-on...

how about this!! more questions.. sorry guys..

there are different 'contact' forms...

xPDT, so like DPDT, SPDT, 3PDT... anyone know what i look for there?

maybe i should just email the guy that makes t-boost and ask for the specs for the switch eh?

I'm going to take a shot in the dark at this one.

I would think a SPDT, being its like two single pole switches in one and if my memory suites me (we're taking a 50/50 chance here) the switch on my T-boost only had 3 wires connected to the switch.

Maybe one of the electrical gurus will chime in.

I like it simply because I can shut off the Vboost without the pain in the *** of removing stuff to unplug it.

def a plus of why i want it. also interested in the 3k kick in...

once i get the damn thing working!

i emailed the maker of the tboost too and asked him fo rthe specs on teh switch, maybe that will help...

hey KJ...

on the 'vboost off' setting, can you test it without starting the bike by putting it to off and turning the key? does it keep it from doing the start-up cycling too?

To be honest, I never noticed. Brb, lemme look real fast.

Yup, it cycles at "Key on" for all three switch settings. my guess is that the off setting dosn't allow the signal to tell the Vboost to open.

It's 95% plug and play, I did a little soldering but it's not required, its just me having the want to solder my electrical connections.

I mounted the switch up on the cover just in front of the left scoop.
