It has a spun rod bearing so its gonna cost a few bucks to fix .. My bike was built 12/88 so it beats the cutoff. I almost started taking mine apart today since I need all the cash I can get to fix this one and I know its worth more in pieces.
Bike dont have wavey rotors there stock progresive springs are staying.Well if you want to put it back to 'mostly stock' that's fine by me I may still be interested in getting it over. I wouldn't mind keeping a few things like the prog springs in the forks and the wavey front rotors, but don't care for the exhaust, all funky bodywork and other upgrades you may get better money for.
I'm gonna call the shipping companies here to find out about the atlantic/indian ocean route - have you talked to anyone over in Tampa yet?
I dont think its gonna be cheap to fix. Trying to figure out if im gonna send it back to PCW or tear it down & go talk with Falicon & Murdoch racing. What a score! Lucky bugger. :biglaugh:

I am a pretty good wrench. I am just gonna tear it down & have a look when I get the chance.Never have worked with either, take what I say with a grain of salt.
But if PCW says they know what is wrong with it off the bat, I think they would be the safe bet, do they offer any sort of guarantee on their motors?

Here ya go its a 3 gallon tank. kind of like the ones they sell in the uk for 1500 bucks.
Nope it is not available this is a really old post.
Not something I have really had the extra cash to mess with. The engine is just sitting in the corner covered up. All I know is # 2 rod bearing is spun. If things will ever quit going wrong & costing me money maybe I will get to mess with it.
