Nice Sunday ride in Michigan..

Me and Wildman98 did a partial "lakeshore trail" ride today in MI. We went from Muskegon to Ludington and brought the highway back. I'm going to try and get a group ride going this month to ride up to Traverse city from Muskegon, prolly the weekend of the 20th or the weekend of the 27th. Just a day ride, take off early get home late. Let me know if you want to do this and we can plan it out. We can do Sat or Sun depending on what day works out best for most.

the Muskegon to Traverse City ride sounds great. Would be game to join the ride if it's the the weekend of Aug 27th; have commitments already for the weekend of the 20th. I could ride over to Muskegon very early or come over the night before depending on the day / time you decide on. Keep us posted !

Let me know the date and I might be able to make it down to meet you guys in TC or somewhere along your route. Hopefully I won't be on-call for that date.
I could head down in the morning taking the senic route along Lake Michigan to get to TC (about 170 miles). The fast way (I-75 for the most part:damn angry is only about 125 miles.

My Brother in Sparta wants me to come down sometime this summer...I might just see if the weekend of the 29th works out for him. I'd probably ride down on Friday night, do the family deal, then meet up with ya'll on Sunday AM, then split off at the northern most portion of the ride to go home.

Welcome to the ride Tom, I'm not sure where exactly were going to meet, possibly 2fear is going to set it. It should be a great ride as long as the weather cooperates!

I'm working on it, just waiting on some final weather reports. I'm open to any suggestions also, I'm easy... I should have some time this weekend to dig into some details and maps. If someone has made this ride before please step up with imput also, this will be a sweet ride for sure!

This is a shout out for all that want to ride.......Unfortunately my house is small so I really don't have any extra room. My father in-law is staying with us that weekend. We have hotels in my area, I'm sure you can do some room shares to save some cash if any other riders are coming in on Saturday. If you want you can park the bike in my garage and I can shuttle you to and from your room. We can do some dinner and local riding Saturday also if your up for it. Plan on heading out early Sunday morning, we can meet up for breakfast at Bob Evens on Apple ave (M-46) and US-31 and go from there.We will have to do some highway riding to make up some time, this will be a long ride. I would like to eat dinner at Boons long lake inn in Traverse city. I think we need to have the kick stands up from breakfast at 9am and hit the road. I'm still working on a route, any suggestions would be great. Keep in mind, I have been known to get lost while riding :rofl_200: but over the years my wife has trained me to stop and ask for directions. But she wont be there so we can find our own way unk: So please post up and let us know who is going and any other suggestions, this is not "my" ride, this is our ride.

US-31, The main goal is to stay on the lake shore as much as we can. My Vmax drinks around the same miles as your Honda. Should be a great ride! Welcome to the Vmax family.......
