Odometer stem broke

Anyone have luck replacing / reparing the odometer stem as in trip mileage counter stem. Mine is AWOL so Ive taped around to keep water out. Positive note...the odometer still works fine.

I got lucky and able to super glue mine back on going 8 years now

You might try a hobby store for a brass tube the size you need to sleeve the break, and use superglue. That could require relieving the area where the stem inserts.
