hey guys. you might remember i mentioned in a post that i had oil leaking from the left side of the engine.

well, after finally getting the time to look around good, i've noticed it's all up around the carbs and vent hoses. the linkages and boots are oily. the hoses that run between the cars are also oily.

the air box is clean.

any thoughts or suggestions?

TIA.............................Neal

Neal, are you sure that the crankcase vent hose was on the airbox nipple? Check around the gasket area of the valve covers.

BINGO

Thanks Mark.

What a bitch to get back on though.

I ended up taking it loose at the bottom and attaching it back to the airbox then re-attaching the bottom.

Good news/Bad news though.

i removed the chrome v-cover to get more room, and one of the screws broke off in the manifold.

I knew it was gonna do it cause it was way tight when trying to remove it.

It looks easy enough to drill out/eze-out though.

Thanks again!
