Okay....so what's the best clutch???

After reading all the posts on here about clutches....DD, Barnett, PCW, etc....what is best for basic riding with a good feel? I'm in SoCal, so I hit a lot of traffic, so pull is an issue.

trust me pcw for sure, i have the DD and no fun for city driving, nice feel but not worth it for a reg daily driver. ive driven a PCW set up and its great. barnett i havent tried so not sure. But you might talk to Dannymax, he has i think or atleast i know he has a new barnett set up for sale.

i have DD but also have a fjr master. i'd go PCW though.

you can also re-sell your stock spring for someone to do DD and it not cost as much either!

DD+ 14mm clutch master= strong clutch and lever effort similar to stock

I have the DD clutch and stock master but I don't find it too hard a pull. I use Rotella T 15w 40 and have a undercut transmission.

I have stock plates, steels, and the DD mod, I don't think the stock plates can be beat.

The DD isn't for everyone, feel is just fine, but it's a bitch on the forearms. wouldn't recommend it for city driving

I've got a PCW spring that is going in there when I put it back together next time. It's down for a 2nd gear repair right now.

I think Rhoy Carter is running the Barnett clutch with FJR master and is very pleased with it, says it's easier on the hands than the stock setup. Grip was an issue for him since he's got a little arthritis, (Sorry Rhoy :biglaugh: )
