I didn't even think such an event would make the news in Canada. I figured they just called that Friday . At least in good typical Canadian fashion everyone has a Tim Horton's location to affix to the historical record.

I love stories like this:clapping:That's a great story! Only in Canader...ey? For sure! :clapping:
We have a wildlife bridge, or at least that what it amounts to. It was built as a snowmobile bridge over I-75 but animals have started to use it now too.Life's much slower up here, Tex, especially in places like northern Ontario.
Not only is this news, this is BIG news! Already appearing on TV newscasts.
Mtnmax - a follow-up to the story states that the mother was killed on the highway. A common occurrence in n. Ontario and New Brunswick, an epedemic in Newfoundland.
A lot of the major highways here in N.B. have wildlife fences on either side, stretching for many kilometers. They have drastically reduced the number of deaths and accidents involving moose, deer, and bear.
Cheers!

Too slow, this more like how we do it in Northern Ontario!

There are a bunch that ride local lake all summer long, and yup they have sunk a few of them!:rofl_200: Apparently they keep a rope and float tied to them so they can retrieve them later.Too slow, this more like how we do it in Northern Ontario!

Damn newbie Americans. :rofl_200:
Around here, we use blue hardboard foam and place it strategically on the machine so that it will float (skis, under the hood, running boards, under the tunnel, etc...). Than you can use the snow machine like a seadoo and the sound of a two stroke machine ripping down a lake in the summer is just wicked and the looks that you get when you stop in open water and sit there floating is just priceless.
Mike
LOL, I suppose that would be a little better than "lett'n her sink!" Saying nothing of the environmental impact and $$$ to rebuild it.:bang head:Damn newbie Americans. :rofl_200:
