Why is it that most other forums I join especially Fox body mustangs and 6.0 powerstroke there are nothing but a bunch of haters. You ask a simple question and there's a million answers with no real answer. Are we a bunch of old men or we just wise to all the BS.

For some reason, diversity is frowned upon or "my way or the highway" rules apply. The old Yahoo Vmax forums could be like that.

I have been involved in countless forums over the years. This one, for whatever reason, does seem to maintain a better culture than most.

And no, we are not old men, dammit.

The one I was on yrs ago was the worst I ever dealt with . The Kawasaki ZRX Forum , it went thru a period of about a yr. where everyone was uptight and stressed out and would freak out if you mentioned something they did want to hear . I love all bikes but I got a message that unless I removed my V-Max avatar of my bike I would no longer be welcome , so I guess I'm no longer welcome there . Have not tried to get on the site in yrs. This forum is by far the best I have dealt with Thanks to everyone involved!

Oh dear, looks like you're a trouble maker. Vmax avatar on a kawasaki forum and a late z1000 with oil cooler as an avatar on a VMax forum.

Expect the forum moderators to come a knocking on your front door......

After reading all of the above, after all this time( I think since 2012) getting from and not giving much if anything, I gladly joined/support the forum.

How could I not after Angie's great upgrades

The late Z1 is a bike done by AC Sancutuary out of Japan and if some one gets butt hurt over that well we have more problems in the world

This is a nice Forum. I also belong to 2 Challenger Forums. 2 Bike Forums. This one and the V4MuscleBike forum. I was on a BMW Forum when I had my K1200LT. One day someone said something that I felt 'Was Not Kind.' Dropped them like Hot Tur---d.
I am an OLE' GUY. Woke up the other day and faced the truth... But I like to talk to people all over the country. I like to see how differently they do things. But also I don't have time for BS..

Thank God you don't own a fox body or 6.0 powerstroke. By the way your bike is badass. I followed your build , is there anything you would have done different as far as your body mods. As far as different plastics and how you attach them.

Thank God you don't own a fox body 5.0. all those forms or just haters. I have an 82 GT that I put a 91 dog house on and you thought I'd destroy the value of my car. Even though I have put over $25 grand in motor work and suspension. I still have the 82 dog house.

I'm guessing the 'dog house' is the unit body from the firewall back. In the 1980's, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) ran V-8 notchback Fox-body Mustang pursuit vehicles. I recall seeing them in a 'wolf-pack,' one sitting on an overpass with a radar gun, shooting fish in a barrel (oncoming speeders heading into Miami), and radioing the line of at-least six Mustang FHP cars sitting nose-to-tail on the concealed on-ramp, to chase-down speeders. This was in Dade County (Miami) on I-95 at Ives Dairy Rd.

Having mostly owned VMaxxes and FJ(R)s and belonging to these forums, It has been fantastic to have a ready and willing resource of information available. I understand what you mean by most forums are full of big talkers about chicken strips and other foolish nonsense. The VMax and FJ(R) forums are also into modding a lot, which I love.
