I went for a ride with my mate on his BT1100 yesterday, nearly every village we passed through was filled with socially distancing people, so nowhere to stop so just kept riding until fuel was needed



I was trying out my new rear light to make sure it stayed put

next time you're out, could you post photo showing the rear light? I take it you fitted it where the reflector is and have some lights to illuminate the number plate?

it's an led 'smoked' finish light that fits in place of the original, I removed the number plate mounting area of the original steel underside part and made a stainless bracket which holds the light and number plate, then it is bolted to the remaining original steel mount, it is a rear light, brake light and number plate light combined

Something smaller for you US guys. We make this bracket with a number of different lights available. LED cateye with signals shown first (and a few of the others pictured though that is not all of them).

I use the CBR conversion with integrated turn signals a side-mounted tag. The tag is technically illegal, but i have yet to be harassed about it. I guess the turn signals are technically illegal too. 8 years and 50k miles ridden all over the country with no issues, i guess it will be ok.

LOL, this bike may have made a few passes lol. Still got a few left in it. Currently getting a turbo installed on it. As per the light. It's got turn signals built in and I think it has a lower facing set of bulbs but the plate should be lit up well enough from the running light anyway.
