PAJ2...shorter?

I was reluctant from the begining that the cute Yamaha parts girl knew her stuff, but I failed to check her work. Got a couple PAJ1 90's and PAJ2 170's. The issue is that the 170's are a bit shorter and the engraving is on the side of the head instead of top. Will they work? Will probably take them back. The 90's were right on. Dan

As long as the holes are same you should be fine. But, I'm anal that way and would exchange them.

Got the answer. Yamaha jets come pre packaged and are specific in size. What she gave me was the correct 170 diameter but a generic out of a box. Heading to a different Yamaha dealer today...they have my 4 in stock. Yay!
